I just started watching Assassination Classroom

As for spoilers, I don’t mind them too much as long as they aren’t insanely major, but usually I get over that frustration by binge-watching the show until I reach that spoiler event. It’s summer so I got a lotta time on my hands lol

Im already on ep3 (as of posting this) and I’d say I’m really looking forward to the major events in the series. I’d say my favorite characters so far are Nagisa, Korosensei, Sugino and Karma. Nagisa’s probably one of the best protagonists I’ve seen in an anime, tbh.

1. According to Yusei Matsui, he wanted Karma to play the role of that perfect character in every story (that's why he's so perfect 🤷‍♀️)

2. I think sociopathy/psychopathy in fiction looks cooler than in reality, though that doesn't mean everyone likes it. In fiction, we usually know the background story of the sociopathic/psychopathic character so we don't have a problem with them. In reality, we know nothing except for the fact that the person is cruel so sociopathy/psychopathy IRL doesn't look cool (also that anime sociopaths/psychopaths are drawn in such a way that no one will hate them). So Karma's sociopathic tendencies make him look more daring, increasing the number of fans

3. He has top-notch scores, can study and slack off a bit, making him look cool because he looks laid-back but is prepared

4. His physical features, mentioned in point 1, Yusei Matsui drew Karma as a perfect character in almost every way

5. His tone of speech is calm, such qualities tend to draw people towards characters as they give off somewhat mysterious or interesting vibes

6. Perceptive, quick on his feet, confident, clever

7. He's personal life isn't revealed (his house, his parents, etc.) unlike other characters, making fans more curious about him

8. His only flaws are his pride, sociopathic tendencies and his ego

TBH, I am a fan of him as well
