Currently, Class E is the location of a government confidential assassination of their homeroom teacher, [[Korosensei]]. Because it is secluded away from the main building, the students and teachers are able to carry out their assassination attempts without the people from the main school knowing or noticing. The students work in three major types of groups. Maehara, Kimura, Sugino, Okano, Yada, Kurahashi, and Mimura are proactive assassins who follow the lead of Isogai and Kataoka. Nagisa, Kayano, Chiba, Hayami, Kanzaki, Okajima Fuwa, and Hara act as support for the main group and do what they can to help out in assassinations. The last group consists of people too individualistic to work in a group so they carry out their own unique plans. This group is comprised of Karma, Nakamura, Okuda, Takebayashi, Sugaya, Tersaka, Yoshida, Takuya, and Hazama.

ClassE

The building

Class 3-E (3年E組 San-nen E-gumi) or simply Class E is the lowest class of Kunugigaoka Junior High School. It is nicknamed the "E-as-in-End Class" and consists of students who either failed to keep their grades up (i.e. Yukiko Kanzaki, Nagisa Shiota) or were punished for breaking school regulations (i.e. Yūma Isogai, Karma Akabane).

Background

Class E was made solely for the purpose of fulfilling Chairman Gakuhō Asano's educational value of his variation of the 20:20:60 worker ant ratio in which 95% percent of his students are working, and the remaining 5% are lazy. Class E serves as the 5% and is used as an example for the 95% to continue striving academically (ignoring the fact that Class E comprises 15% of the total student body). Prior to the events of the story, Class 3-E was under the tutelage of Aguri Yukimura[1] who was killed shortly after the destruction of the moon[2].

It was revealed in Chapter 125 that Class E didn't always exist. The class used to be Chairman Asano's cram school that eventually became Kunugigaoka Junior High School after the death of one of his former students. To fit his new education ideals of creating "strong" students instead of "good" ones, he created what is now Class 3-E.

Blatant discrimination from the main body of the school(even the chairman Gakuho Asano himself intervenes occasionally to ensure that the class 3-E 'stays in the bog', sabotaging any effort from Class 3-E to improve itself academically), new and inexperienced teachers, poor and shoddy study environment added by the despair of relegated students who lost will to strive makes escape from Class 3-E while still attending the school virtually impossible.

But even with all these injustices Class 3-E is subjected to, people outside of the school(who are unaware of the Academy's segregationist policy) still consider Class 3-E students elite.

Location and Appearance

Class E is located on a mountain that is 1 kilometer away from the main building. Its exterior is that of an old rundown wooden school building with several places on the roof and a few windows boarded up. The interior contains a simple classroom with a blackboard, 28 desks, and a small faculty lounge. The building has no air conditioning and the ceiling has several leaks in it as well due to lack of funds(stemming from discriminatory school policy. Class 3-E is not on the list of School's concern) to renovate the building.

Plot

Currently, Class E is the location of a government confidential assassination of their homeroom teacher, Korosensei.

In chapter 178, after Korosensei is assassinated Class 3-E is closed down for good as everyone was graduated from Kunugigaoka Junior High School on the day of Graduation. Later on Chapter 179, all of them are receiving rewards of 30 billion yen for completing assassination of Koro-sensei but later receive what was necessary for them. Instead, one of their wishes is purchasing Class 3-E and a whole mountain that was around Class 3-E as their property for their memento which later reunited to reconstruct Class 3-E.

Seven years after that, Class E make a reunion to repair the class and wishes to make it up and running again. Kayano who was now an actress planned to appoint Nagisa as a Teacher of a repaired Class E buildings. The Class E buildings also served as a graveyard of legacy from both Koro-sensei and Aguri Yukimura as an honorable teacher which makes them believe that both are never died in Class E as their teacher where Class E is the place they belong.
