Shortly after Kanzaki's ambush on Okajima and Chiba, she is eliminated by Karma, the latter having predicted her position. Karma then assumes leadership of the red team, directing Mimura to act as recon and Terasaka's group to guard a specific position. Meanwhile, the eliminated Kataoka and Takebayashi discuss with Korosensei on what they planned to do in the fight. It is revealed that Karma's decision to eliminate Takebayashi early was completely justified as Takebayashi was building on an aerial explosive that contains paints which would explode in the air, showering paint all over the Red Team from above. Simply put, Karma saw Takebayashi as an imminent threat.
Under Karma's orders, Hazama pushes forward into blue territory and eliminates Sugino and Fuwa, before getting eliminated herself. Okano then eliminates Kurahashi with her fast close-quarter combat skills and was about to be shot by Kayano, who was swiftly eliminated by Kimura. Seeing Sumire Hara alone and unarmed, both Okano and Kimura dive in for the kill, only to be ensnared in Hara's trap and subsequently getting eliminated.
After Karma comments that they were too overconfident, Nakamura readies for combat.
