Hey guys!
So as you may have known, I started a poll asking all of you, as a naming convention for the Wiki, whether we should keep referring to the name of the series as "Ansatsu Kyōshitsu", or change it "Assassination Classroom". With a vote of 23 to 6 over the past two weeks, readers are overwhelmingly in favour of changing the name to "Assassination Classroom". So I'll be accommodating this change.
What does this mean? It means that there will be certain changes to come around the Wiki. You can refer to the two lists as follows:
What's unchanged[]
- The URL of the Wiki will be retained as ansatsukyoshitsu.wikia.com to allow international Wikis to share a common, universal URL.
- The URLs assassinationclassroom.wikia.com and ansatsukyoushitsu.wikia.com will remain available to redirect onto this Wiki, whatever your preference is in accessing the Wiki.
- Users may continue to choose to address the series as Assassination Classroom, Ansatsu Kyōshitsu, or any of its derivatives, but only outside the article pages. If linking to the main series page, a link to Assassination Classroom is most preferred.
What's changed[]
- The Wiki name will now be Assassination Classroom Wiki, not Ansatsu Kyōshitsu Wiki.
- The series page will be moved to Assassination Classroom. Ansatsu Kyōshitsu will now redirect to the new series page, as well as Ansatsu Kyoshitsu and Ansatsu Kyoushitsu.
- Throughout the articles of the Wiki, only Assassination Classroom will be used to refer to the name of the series, not Ansatsu Kyōshitsu.
- To maintain consistency with this Wiki, the Animanga Wiki will also undergo the same changes as listed above.
